CWP2026 | On the Zero-Carbon Journey, Windey Walks With You: Building a New Vision of Smart Energy with "Green Power + Computing Power + Data + Algorithms"

Time:2026-10-22 Number:0 From:Windey

As wind power gathers momentum in Beijing, green energy is shaping the future. On October 14, the 2026 China Wind Power Conference & Exhibition (CWP2026) opened at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall). Under the theme of "Zero-Carbon Journey, Together with Windey," Windey Energy Technology Group systematically presented its latest achievements in the strategic transition from "equipment manufacturing" to "smart energy services" across three core segments: artificial intelligence and computing power, wind power technology and products, and digital systems. Through the multi-track innovative practice of "green power + computing power + data + algorithms," Windey contributes its solutions to the global zero-carbon transition.

Innovation-Driven: New Breakthrough in Ultra-Low Wind Speed Wind Power

At the exhibition booth, the Windey P5max ultra-low wind speed extreme performance turbine attracted numerous visitors. This model provides a systematic solution to the core challenge that has long plagued the development of ultra-low wind speed wind power projects—the poorer the wind resource, the higher the cost per kilowatt, yet the lower the power generation, making it consistently difficult for project returns to reach the investment threshold.

This turbine unit is equipped with all-new carbon fiber blades, featuring a rotor diameter of 220 meters, a 25% increase in swept area per kilowatt, an 18.8% improvement in blade root load-bearing capacity, and a 15% enhancement in the turbine's dynamic wind energy utilization coefficient. The cut-in wind speed is as low as 2.5 m/s, and the entire wind speed range from cut-in to rated operates within the optimal Cp control range.

In terms of reliability, the P5max is designed to IEC Class Ⅲ A++ standards, capable of adapting to high-turbulence operating conditions. Under high-turbulence conditions in mountainous terrain, it requires neither early cut-out nor derated operation, achieving a 20% improvement in power generation performance. Meanwhile, the P5max offers diverse tower solutions including steel towers, segmented towers, concrete-steel hybrid towers, and truss towers, with tower heights reaching up to 200 meters. This restores investment viability to ultra-low wind speed sites that previously held no development value, providing a solution for ultra-low wind speed wind power to transition from "developable" to "worth developing."

AI Empowerment: Power Trading Ushers in a New Era of Intelligence

During the exhibition, the AI power trading product jointly developed by Windey and Ant Digital Technologies was officially released. This product employs a large language model to enable intelligent consultation and natural language interaction, utilizes a high-precision electricity price forecasting large model to predict price trends, and applies a strategy optimization model based on game-theoretic reasoning to generate trading recommendations, enabling traders to access market information and business support through conversational interaction.

On this basis, the two parties further developed the industry's first integrated, multi-user collaborative intelligent trading platform, integrating natural language question answering, data governance, price forecasting, strategy generation, automated execution, strategy review, and process auditing into an end-to-end power trading system, driving the trading system from partial applicability to nationwide applicability, from manual policy interpretation to intelligent natural language interpretation, and from manual review to automated review and report generation. The platform also introduces trading behavior management and violation identification capabilities, enabling full-process traceability of key trader operations and providing data support for corporate internal control and compliance management. Windey is leveraging AI as an engine to provide deployable and scalable intelligent trading solutions for new energy assets participating in the national power market.

Intelligent O&M: Creating a New Paradigm of Minimally Manned and Unmanned Operations

At the exhibition, Windey launched its intelligent unmanned wind farm operation system. Centered on full‑domain intelligent alarming and closed-loop handling, the system achieves round-the-clock monitoring through 23 types of algorithms, integrates AI image and sensor algorithms, and introduces rail-mounted robots for autonomous inspections. Accordingly, the system is capable of automatically identifying equipment status, providing real-time warnings for abnormalities, and closing out work orders, thereby driving wind farm operations and maintenance from "manual inspection and passive response" to "intelligent inspection and proactive warning."

Building on this progress, Windey further advances the remote migration and centralized management and control of operational systems. The Company has integrated 11 business systems, including SCADA, AGC/AVC, CMS, video surveillance, and wind power forecasting, into a unified monitoring platform, enabling centralized monitoring and unified control while supporting unattended station operations. In response to the challenges of high labor costs, low efficiency, and significant safety risks associated with traditional O&M, this system is underpinned by three core functions—intelligent inspection, remote O&M, and centralized management and control—providing a replicable model for low‑staff and unmanned operations of new energy stations.

As new energy enters a new phase of full participation in the electricity market, Windey will continue to pursue its multi‑pronged approach centered on "green power + computing power + data + algorithms," further integrating wind power with artificial intelligence and digital technologies, and continuously contributing to the green and low-carbon energy transition.
